World Activity Philippines works with organizations that offer Fair and Sustainable products and services. Meet some of our partners!
JoHo
Starting in the early 90s as a local youth organisation focused on study & career, JoHo has grown into an International Organization with the goal to set up a network of worldwide centers, dealing with international cooperation, personal development and travel. The main focus of the organization is passing on knowledge, promoting international contacts awareness and giving advice.
Worldschool Network
The Worldschool Network offers schools connections with policymakers, political and scientific organizations and a lot of other clients all around the world. Schools use the network to offer real-life education to their students: ready made case studies that students can work on guided by their teachers.
Smokey Tours
Smokey Tours was set up in 2014 by Juliette Kwee, a missionary at Bahay at Yaman ni San Martin de Porres, who came up with the idea in 2011 to help the local community of Sitio Damayan (Smokey Mountains). By sharing their experiences and showing their dignity, faith, resilience and strength in dealing with abject poverty; hence the Smokey Mountain Tour was born. The Smokey Mountain Tour has been discontinued since June 2014, since the residents of Smokey Mountains have been transferred. Taking its place since then is the Slum Tour around the area near Smokey Mountain. Since february 2017, the Slum Tour is in Baseco.
Apo Island products
The women of Apo island make yogamats to earn a proper living. They show their skills in using the traditional ways of weaving and proudly present their products. Any additional profit they make by selling the mats in The Netherlands is used by the Apo community for e.g. medical care or renewable energy. Thanks to Paswerk!
